Solar Powered Beer

Who doesn’t love a cold beer on a hot summer’s day? The problem is that breweries are taking taxpayer money in order to maximize revenue by installing solar panels on the roof of their breweries. The federal government credits the breweries for installing these solar panels and these credits can range from $13,000 to $100,000 or more. The USDA gave special handouts to numerous companies, including $44,119 to help just one brewery install solar panels. American taxpayers should not be on the hook to subsidize private companies using expensive sources of energy.
