Shrimp Fight club

Who even knew that shrimp could fight? Apparently the government did. In 2015, a $700,000 grant was used for a shrimp fight club. A student from Duke University watched mantis shrimp punch each other during 34 different contests. Taxpayer money was used to discover which shrimp would end up in control of an aquarium burrow. Clearly this money could have been better spent. On top of it all, an animal researcher pointed out the study was flawed.
