Gravity testing on Sheep

In 2015, $1.2 million was used to test the effects of microgravity on sheep’s bone density. Previous studies had already confirmed that human bone density decreased in space, but a researcher at Colorado State University claimed that the project had “massive potential benefits.” A NASA researcher even stated this project has a “niche application.” With the national debt looming, this project is clearly not a priority for taxpayers.
